Welcome!

In its 13th year the Bridgy Triathlon is an event for everyone. Whether your a experienced triathlete or have never been in one our event is for you.  This year we have a new course, which starts in our brand new Public Caravan Park. This means better access for swimmers, larger transition area, toilets and lots of lush green grass! (Please note due to public liability insurance only park patrons can use the playground and swimming pool located in the Caravan Park).

There are four courses to choose from, you can compete each leg yourself or as part of a team. The swim is in the Loddon River (not keen on swimming? check out our duathlon option), the ride is on a quiet bitumen road and the run takes you along the banks of our beautiful river.

Our event is all about having a go and having fun. There are lots of prizes and give away's and we look forward to seeing you there.

Presentations will be riverside at the conclusion of the Long Course.

FAQ's

I am worried about swimming in the river...

The Loddon moves very slowly and there is next to no current. The SES patrol the swim leg and there will also be two kayaks on the water if you get into trouble. If you are new to triathlons, hang out at the back of the pack that way you wont get overwhelmed by other swimmers.

Can i wear a wet suit?

Yes! But the water is usually quite nice at this time of year if you are worried about getting cold.

I dont have a road bike.

No problem, any bike will do.

Do I need to wear a helmet?

Yes, a helmet must be worn before mounting and dismounting your bike.

How does a team work?

If you are in a team the other members have to wait in the designated areas for transition between each leg. You can have a team of two or three.

If I ordered merchandise when do I receive it?

Just head to the merchandise tent on the day.

How long before my race do i need to arrive?

Please sign in 45minutes before your race and head to the start line 10minutes prior to the race start for a race briefing.
